Imenco Future Technologies Completes Final Shipset Delivery for Five-Year Naval VSS Contract

FAT 7

The Imenco Future Technologies (IFT) project engineering team recently reached a significant milestone by completing the final Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the fifth shipset of a long-term naval Visual Surveillance System (VSS) contract. This concludes a five-year journey in which we successfully delivered one system annually to our client. The FAT serves as a vital quality control bridge, conducted at our facility to verify that every system component aligns with the client’s rigorous design, safety, and performance specifications before shipment to the client’s site.

While this manufacturing phase is now ending, the project enters its next chapter in the coming months. The IFT engineers will soon transition to the client’s shipyard to begin the official commissioning process, integrating the VSS technology with other systems on the naval vessels.
