In a world where an increasing share of critical equipment and operations take place in subsea and maritime environments. Monitoring and security have never been more important. Accurate control is essential not only for safe and efficient operations, but also for protecting valuable assets and infrastructure.

Imenco Future Technologies (IFT) is experiencing strong growth globally, with particularly rapid expansion in the renewable energy and defence sectors. The company’s advanced sensors and visual systems, combining high-end optics, AI and data analytics provide operators with enhanced situational awareness that enables safer operations and improved protection of critical equipment.

Several multi-million contracts

Over the past few weeks, IFT has signed several multi-million NOK contracts to deliver advanced monitoring and visual systems to clients in these sectors. A recent example is  the supply of next-generation visual systems, equipped with AI-driven features, to a major Baltic offshore wind project that will provide clean power to millions of people.

CEO Daniele Petrone, who joined the company in December last year to lead its ambitious global growth strategy, sees a wealth of opportunities ahead;

“We are entering an exciting phase in IFT’s journey. The need for robust monitoring and security solutions in maritime environments is growing rapidly, both in the renewable energy industry and in defence applications. By combining our proven visual systems with advanced AI and data analytics, we enable clients to achieve safer and more efficient operations. I believe the coming years will open many new opportunities
for our company.”

New offices in the US

To meet this increasing global demand, IFT is expanding its presence internationally. The company operates worldwide and has recently strengthened its footprint in North America.

Following the acquisition of Gardner Technologies (GTI), a new office in Maryland, just outside Washington D.C., opened in January, followed last week by the inauguration of a new office in Houston, Texas.

Daniele Petrone is confident that the company is positioning itself for sustained success, concluding:

“This global expansion is a direct response to the strong growth IFT is experiencing. With our innovation-driven approach and a proven track record of reliability, we are well positioned to play an increasingly central role in securing the future of offshore renewable energy projects and defence-related maritime operations worldwide.”
